For the past year I have been documenting the public footpaths that intersect more well trodden local landmarks of Cheshire and the start of the Peak District (UK)

This project grew from a desire to step away from my familiar routes and explore new paths across the local landscape. In doing so, I uncovered the intricate network of intersecting pathways that weave together our countryside.

My work documents the network of public pathways that weave between local landmarks—spaces that are often overlooked yet hold traces of both history and daily life.

These in-between landscapes reveal the constant dialogue between human presence and the natural environment, where paths are worn, marks are left, and nature adapts or reclaims.

Ultimately, I hope the work encourages attentiveness and respect for shared spaces, reminding us that even the most ordinary pathways carry meaning, memory, and change.
